Veteran Policy Leader Bridget McAuliffe Joins MAD Global Strategy Ohio Office

Columbus, Ohio – MAD Global Strategy Group, a leading bipartisan public affairs firm, today announced that Bridget McAuliffe has joined the firm as Senior Vice President in its Ohio office. McAuliffe brings extensive experience in lobbying and strategic advocacy at the state and federal levels, with particular expertise in healthcare policy and cross-industry government relations.

“Bridget has earned the respect of her peers and policymakers through years of thoughtful, effective advocacy,” said Jai Chabria, Partner, MAD Global Strategy. “She advocates fiercely for her clients while maintaining the professionalism and integrity that build lasting relationships. That balance has made her one of the most trusted voices around Capitol Square, and that credibility is invaluable to our clients.”

Widely respected for her integrity and ability to advance client priorities, McAuliffe has represented hospitals, long-term care providers, behavioral and mental health organizations, developmental disability providers, and pharmacy interests. Her work also spans workforce development, energy and natural resources, public utilities, transportation, and public safety, along with advocacy efforts focused on homelessness and suicide prevention.

“Bridget is a proven leader who understands how to move policy, and we’re thrilled to welcome her to the MAD Global team,” said Mike DuHaime, Founder and CEO of MAD Global Strategy. “When you’re building a top-tier organization, you look for professionals with both deep experience and earned respect. Bridget brings both, and her addition further strengthens our growing presence in Ohio and our ability to deliver results for clients across the region.”

Throughout her career, McAuliffe has advised clients on comprehensive legislative strategy, including operating and capital budget requests, bill drafting and analysis, issue campaign management, grassroots engagement, PAC strategy, and state government procurement. Most recently, she served as a Government Affairs Professional in Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Columbus office, where she advised clients on state public policy, regulatory matters, and government relations strategy.

“MAD Global is building a formidable presence in Ohio, and I’m excited to join at such a pivotal time,” said McAuliffe. “The team approaches advocacy holistically, and I’m eager to work alongside professionals who understand how policy, politics, and communications intersect to deliver meaningful results for our clients.”

McAuliffe has been active in Ohio’s civic and professional communities. She served as a board member and past president of the Ohio Lobbying Association, and previously chaired the Ohio Federation of Republican Women Healthcare Committee. She also served as secretary and a member of the development committee for Prevent Blindness Ohio, co-founded the Foundation Fighting Blindness Columbus Chapter, is a former board member of A Kid Again, and is a former president of the American Marketing Association Columbus Chapter.

McAuliffe’s addition further strengthens MAD Global’s Ohio presence and builds on the firm’s national expansion, including its offices in Pittsburgh and Washington, DC.
